The Bread of Life: A Disciple’s Confession.

In this deeply moving original 42-minute monologue, south Louisiana native and devout Catholic, Clifford Hebert, delivers a powerful original monologue:

The Bread of Life: A Disciple’s Confession.

Set in the first century, this Gospel-rooted work of historical fiction draws viewers into the heart of a young Roman soldier.

  • He witnesses the crucifixion.

  • He wrestles with guilt and grief.

  • He encounters the mercy of Christ.

  • Through this journey, he comes to believe in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.

Clifford shares that the inspiration for this work came from “the Lord’s words spoken to my heart during precious hours in Eucharistic Adoration.” His heartfelt, passionate delivery, alive with his authentic Cajun passion, spirit and joy, makes this more than a performance. It’s an encounter.

Step into the world of Jesus. Feel the weight of the Cross.

Rediscover the mystery and beauty of the Eucharist.

Clifford’s Invitation to You

  • Watch the video and share it with family and friends.

  • Come before the Lord. Spend time in prayer before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Clifford’s favorite place of adoration is the St. Bernard Catholic Church Perpetual Adoration Chapel, 204 N Main St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517 — open 24 hours a day, every day, all are welcome.

  • Go deeper. Enrich your understanding of faith, suffering, mercy, and the Eucharist by reading Sacred Scripture and exploring the book My Human Heart: Where Science and Faith Collide by Ron Tesoriero.

This is more than a story. It’s a confession. It’s an invitation.

It’s a call to believe.
